What is the minimum contract requirement for your medical billing services?
We provide our services on a month to month basis. You can Cancel at any time.
Other Medical Billing Companies will work with different billing software. Do you as well?
No! If you’ve ever worked with more than one EHR at the same time you know that its less efficient. You are much faster and happier when only using one. Being eclinical specialists is better for you and its better for us.
When can I start?
Typically, we can get up and running in a few days for an emergency. 30 Days for an orderly transition is preferred.
How detailed are the monthly financial reports supplied by your billing company?
eClinicalWorks has a plethora of reports to choose from. We condense the monthly reporting down to what we feel is the core, actionable data needed to monitor the financial health of your practice.
How do the billers and office staff communicate efficiently?
Built in claim specific messaging tools are used. This keeps all PHI in ECW and attached to the claim history.
Are there expenses in addition to the base medical billing company fees?
Billing clients are charged a percentage of total payments only. There are no additional fees for our services. The office will continue to be responsible for any current ECW or clearinghouse fees including electronic patient statements.
Do you have a process in place to verify charge capture?
One of our standard month end reports shows billable appointments that do not have a corresponding charge.
Do you provide medical billing and coding services?
We do not code claims. That is the responsibility of the provider and is a safeguard for the practice and Capstone. Our staff will provide feedback on any trends noted and work to educate the practice ensuring that claims are going out clean the first time.
Does your medical billing service off-shore tasks to employees in other countries?
No, we are 100% based in the United States of America. More specifically the great state of Vermont!! We provide Revenue Cycle Management Services coast to coast for private medical practices already using eClinicalWorks software.
